Dr Jana Nikolovski, our lovely dentist at Ambience Dental, volunteered to speak with young and expecting families about oral health during pregnancy and looking after their children’s teeth. Jana spent the day at the ADA NSW Branch “Advice Hub” as part of the Essential Baby & Toddler Show at the International Convention Centre in Sydney.

There were a lot of mums and dads wanting to find out more about oral health. The most common question Jana had from parents was “when should I take my child to the dentist?” It was surprising to a lot of people that the answer is from 12 months of age! It is perfect opportunity to discuss and prevent any risky dietary behaviours before they can cause problems.
